For women who are dissatisfied with having a flat backside, a butt lift can be an appealing option. However, there are exercises that are said to help individuals maximize and reshape their glutes. These exercise movements may provide individuals with greater firmness, but will not produce the same contouring results that plastic surgery is capable of:
Deep Squats
Old school? Yes. Effective? You bet. The deep squat is one of the most underrated lower body exercises there is. Here’s how it’s done: Stand with your feet just a little more than a shoulder width apart, and prop an exercise bar (or if you need to be resourceful, a weighted pole or broom) behind the neck on the shoulders. Holding the bar, squat down as far as you can. Picturing your butt touching the ground may help, but make sure your knees don’t go over your feet. Slowly raise back up, making sure your glutes are doing the work. Do 10 repetitions.
Scorpion Kicks
For scorpion kicks, start by placing the bar in front of your body. Bending 45 degrees at the waist with your butt sticking out, stand with one leg and kick the other leg straight back as if you are trying to kick yourself in the back of the head. Remember, you can use the bar for balance, or if you are using a household item for a bar you may be able to do this facing a wall instead (and using the wall for balance). Do 10 repetitions with each leg.
Step Ups
You’re familiar with the phrase “feel the burn,” right? Step ups will make you feel it in the glutes, right where you want it. It requires a flat exercise bench; if you’re improvising at home, it can be done in front of stairs, but you will need to skip at least one step. Stand in front of the bench or step, keep one leg on the ground and placing the other foot on the bench or step. Push yourself up to a standing position on top of the bench or on the other step, without letting the originally grounded foot touch it. Slowly lower yourself back down. You just completed one repetition! Repeat for 10 repetitions on each leg, and enjoy the burn; that means it’s working!
Despite the efficacy of these exercises, many women still opt to undergo butt lift surgery as a means of complementing their butt exercise efforts. If this interests you, further information is available on the Texas Institute of Functional Medicine (TIFM) website for a butt lift near Highland Park, Texas.
In recent years, there have been many technique and technological advances in techniques and technology in the field of cosmetic plastic surgery. The combination of liposuction and fat transfer, which helps to create a more streamlined, feminine figure, is among the newer methods of enhancement. When performed together, the extracted fat suctioned during liposuction (which used to be discarded as waste) is harvested and injected into the face, breasts, and/or buttocks.
The use of the patient’s own tissue ensures that there is no rejection or adverse reaction to the treated area(s). Patients who wish to add subtle volume to their breasts or buttocks may benefit from a better-contoured shape through the fat transfer technique following liposuction. In addition, patients often feel more at ease using their own fat cells rather than having a foreign object inserted into their bodies, such as silicone implants. Furthermore, it is said that the fat tissue removed consists of stem cells that can be used in healing and repairing viral organs and other damaged tissues. A StemSource Cell Banks in Texas is now the home to the country’s stem and regenerative cells that have been suctioned from patients.
If you are in the Miami area and interested in fat transfer procedures, board certified plastic surgeon Constantino G. Mendieta, M.D., F.A.C.S. can be of great service. He can perform liposuction, breast augmentation, and buttock enhancement with the use of fat transfer at his practice. You may browse Dr. Mendieta’s website to learn more regarding these procedures and schedule an appointment.
The casual attitude towards cosmetic procedures flaunted by the rich and famous (with their Botox parties and weekend makeovers) seems to muddy the inherent risks of any medical procedure. Just like root canals, tonsillectomies and other routine surgeries, cosmetic procedures are only safe when performed by trained and licensed medical professionals. This includes injectable lip augmentation, facial fillers, and other minimally invasive treatments.
The importance of visiting a qualified cosmetic surgeon for such treatments was underscored by the recent death of a 22-year old California woman who died from a silicone injection in her buttocks. The woman received the treatment at a facility run by two sisters who were not licensed to practice medicine in the state. This death occurred just six months after former Miss Argentina Solange Magnano died from a similar buttock augmentation using a different type of filler.
Patients considering facial fillers, lip augmentation, or any other procedure that utilizes an injectable treatment can protect themselves by checking two key credentials. First, check that the doctor that you are visiting is licensed to practice medicine in the state. In California, this can be done online via the Medical Board of California. You may also want to seek out a board-certified plastic surgeon. While not required by law, certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) guarantees that your doctor is a trained specialist in cosmetic work and not merely a fly-by-night practitioner.
Secondly, and most importantly, ask the doctor about the specific brand name and ingredients used in the filler he or she will be using. Verify that it is FDA-approved, conduct research regarding possible risks and side effects, and seek out testimonials of patients who have also received that same injection.
Facial fillers, lip augmentations, and buttock augmentations are certainly less invasive as compared to major surgeries such as liposuction, facelifts and tummy tucks—and do tend to carry less risks overall. However, introducing any foreign substance into your body can pose potentially life-threatening complications to your health. Always make sure that you receive treatment from a qualified, licensed cosmetic surgeon using an FDA-approved product.
Fat Grafting for Body Contouring
05/08/10
Individuals who struggle with stubborn deposits of fat in various areas of the body often turn to cosmetic plastic surgery procedures, such as liposuction. Over the years, technologies and techniques have advanced in order to provide patients with a more pleasant experience during and after their procedure. One of the most widely used methods, VASER liposuction is now updating its technology to allow surgeons to better harvest the fat suctioned for fat grafting.
An experienced fat transfer specialist, Constantino G. Mendieta, M.D., F.A.C.S. uses the VASER technique when performing buttock augmentation and body sculpting procedures. He removes fat from the abdomen, hips, and thighs in order to provide patients with a slender figure. The fat is then harvested and injected into the buttocks to achieve a more voluptuous, enhanced contour. The ultrasound technology allows Dr. Mendieta to sculpt the body, leaving patients with a smooth outcome. According to a recent article, he says “Everything about VASER technology, from the non-cutting cannula to the energy delivery, promotes a gentler procedure, which in turn boosts fat viability.” Newer VASER systems, such as the PureGraft 250, can now help better harvest the fat that is to be used for transferring.
If you are interested in undergoing liposuction with fat transfer for butt augmentation, you may browse Dr. Mendieta’s website. He offers butt implants for those who do not have enough fat for natural enhancement.
Discovered in a 2002 FHM magazine article, the name Vida Guerra and the words ‘big booty’ have become synonymous. Putting many less curvaceous girls to shame, Vida has since appeared in numerous men’s magazines, music videos, and TV shows. Paving the way for girls like Kim Kardashian, who has also posed in men’s magazines and has become famous for her backside, Vida continues to use her butt to advance her career. And who can blame her!
Many have questioned however, if she has undergone any kind of butt enhancement surgery. After all it doesn’t seem natural for a women to have proportions like Ms. Guerra has. But she claims it is all natural, and attributes her butt to genetics and what she calls a butt blaster routine (mostly lunges and squats).
But the question still remains; does Vida have the best butt in show business? After looking at these pictures, I’ll let you be the judge.
With the number of butt augmentation procedures on the rise, one in particular has grown in popularity. The Brazilian butt lift. The name itself conjures up sexy images of warm Rio De Janeiro beaches packed with women wear skimpy thong bikinis. The name is fitting however. Brazil is a country that emphasizes the importance of having a nice shapely butt. So why not name a butt lift procedure after it?
Different from butt implants, a butt lift involves a process called fat transfer. In this process, fat is taken from unwanted areas (i.e. hips, thighs, love handles) and transferred to the buttocks. This surgery is extremely skill-intense, meaning it is the skill of the Brazilian butt lift surgeon that will determine how successful the outcome will be.
The Brazilian butt lift varies from other buttock enhancement procedures, as it mainly focuses on the upper part of the butt, giving it that desired ‘lifted’ look. This can not only help out women in their 40’s and 50’s, but also younger women who are seeking that perkier looking backside.
For women out there who are looking for more shapely buttocks, there are many exercises that can help to tone and firm up those tough to workout butt muscles. Beside the traditional squats, you can also try these exercises: plank glute kickback, walking lunge with torso twist, and glute hip lifts. To get a better idea of what exactly these exercises are and how to maintain proper form while doing them, check out this video:
However for some women who have tried exercise and still aren’t achieving the results they desire, there are alternatives. Plastic surgery has become more and more popular these days, and among the growing numbers of procedures being performed is butt implant surgery. With this surgery the doctor creates a pocket and inserts the implant under the gluteus maximus muscle. This will then create the toned and firm look that many women desire.
To get a better idea, view these before and after photos of women who have undergone butt implant surgery, to see what results can be expected.
Starting with J-Lo almost a decade ago, having a big booty went from being a bad thing, to being something that every girl wanted to have. For those who desire a more curvaceous backside, the torch has now been passed to Kim Kardashian. Known most recently for starring in the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and for dating NFL star running back Reggie Bush, Kim is quickly becoming better known for her booty.
Ms. Kardashian has been accused by many of having butt implant surgery, however she swears it is all natural. In fact, she says her butt is a little too big and wants to lose a few pounds back there. Say it isn’t so!
If you are considering a butt augmentation surgery of some sort, but are apprehensive about going under the knife, you may be in luck. Several websites including this one sell panties that have pads built into the butt and hip areas, to give more of a feminine hourglass appearance.

Padded Panties
I’m guessing this is supposed to be worn with loose fitting pants or dresses only. I don’t think bulging pads under tight clothes is the look most women are going for (unless they’re shooting for that NFL linebacker look), so doesn’t that defeat the purpose? I mean if you’re going to do something don’t do it half…well you know!
After watching this video hopefully any women out there considering butt augmentation surgery of any kind, will heed the warning of this poor girl’s story. You need to do extensive research first, and set up initial consultations with at least two maybe even three doctors, to see which one is the best fit for you.
Make sure to ask the doctor for before and after photos of previous patients he or she has perform the particular procedure you are looking to get done. Also ask if you can get the contact information of those previous patients as well, so you can ask questions about their experience with the doctor, his staff, the cleanliness of the office, and other general questions.
